Shepherd Lions Club Lucky 13 Raffle

A weekly drawing hosted by the Shepherd Lions Club will be held inside the Shepherd Bar & Restaurant every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. during the next 13 weeks. The first drawing will be held on November 6. There will be ten $100 draws and three $300 draws.

All proceeds go towards projects in the Village including a large Maple Leaf West Village sign, a pavilion in the Village Park, plus funding for local sight programs.

Isabella County Sheriff’s Office seeks identity of Shoplifting suspect

ICSO is investigating the identity of a suspect wanted for attempting to steal items from a retail store on November 1. “He fled the store and threw the items at the store asset protection staff to avoid apprehension,” the ICSO stated. Photos of the suspect have also been posted on the Facebook page.

2018 Soup and Bread Annual Fundraiser

The Isabella Community Soup Kitchen will be hosting its annual Soup and Bread Fundraiser on November 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include delicious soups, breads, and desserts donated by local restaurants and bakeries. Cost will be at will donations.
