Optimist Club Welcomes New Member


Ithaca, Michigan-The Optimist Club of Gratiot County welcomes Rachel Letsche as a new member. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University and is the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Recruitment Coordinator for Child Advocacy of Gratiot County. As the Recruitment Coordinator, she is responsible for recruiting and training all CASA Volunteer Advocates and promoting the CASA Program as a whole. Rachel joined the Optimist Club of Gratiot County because, “I was excited to be a part of the Club’s mission of making the future better for children and the community by bringing out the best in everyone.” During her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and reading.

The Optimist Club of Gratiot County’s mission is to bring out the best in youth. The Club meets on the first and third Thursday of each month from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Masonic Pathways in the Doig Conference Center.
