The Shepherd Public School District announced on their Facebook page that the school buildings would be closed during the weekend because of the boil water notice for the Village of Shepherd. “The village is experiencing water issues that are affecting our school facilities, and we will be closed for the weekend. We are addressing the problem and will provide further updates as soon as we have more information,” the post read. It is unknown at this time if this issue will persist past the weekend.
