2021 Spring Sports Physicals

Appointments are available on Thursday, June 3 for free Sports Physicals from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the West Midland Family Center, 4011 West Isabella Rd. (M-20). Middle schoolers or high schoolers can be registered for a physical by calling (989) 832-3256.

The physicals are being sponsored by Mid-Michigan Health, MSU College of Human Medicine, and Westland Midland Family Center.

According to the Shepherd Athletics Facebook Page, “The MHSAA is requiring a new physical be on file for the 2021-22 school year for all student athletes grade 6-12 as everyone was allowed to use the MHSAA Health Questionaire from this year.”

MHSAA Physical forms can be picked up from the Athletic/Counseling office from Pam or from the table outside the Athletic Director’s office. The form can also be downloaded here.

SHS Announcements for Tuesday, May 25th

If you are interested in playing football in the Fall, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, June 1st at 11:05 in the high school gym.
Varsity Pompon tryouts for the 2021-2022 school year will be held June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Tryouts will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the high school gym. If you have any questions or need accommodations due to a spring sport, please email the coaching staff (shepherdvarsitypom@gmail.com). We hope to see you there!
Interested in joining student council or becoming a class officer for next year? Pick up an application from Ms. Chaney or Ms. Nartker. Completed applications are due by Friday, May 28th
Beach Day is Thursday, May 27th! Wear your Hawaiian, flowered, or tie dye shirts It’s going to be a fun day!
The school store will be having an end of the year sale today through Thursday, May 27. The store is open from 12:20-1:50 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The School Store will be open from 2-2:30 Monday, May 24 and Friday May 28. All merchandise is 20% off and some items are 75% off. Food items are excluded.
Students who need to attend summer school will need to complete the signup sheet. Please stop by the office and pick up the letter. Summer school letters have been mailed home and should be returned.
Students: Check the Yearbook bulletin board in the atrium to see if you have a personalized flyer. If you find your flyer, bring it to room 101 to get your surprise.
